This page explains how you pay on novrasleep.com, who handles the money, and what happens if something goes wrong at checkout.
What we accept
Checkout is handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal. Through them you can pay with:
- Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club
- Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
- PayPal: your balance, or any card linked to your PayPal account
We do not take payment by check, wire transfer, cash on delivery, or any instalment arrangement other than one offered inside checkout itself.
What appears on your statement
The charge is described as NOVRA or NOVRASLEEP.COM.
When you are charged
- The full amount is taken when you place the order, not when it ships.
- If we cancel an order before dispatch for any reason, the charge is released or refunded in full the same day.
- Prices shown at checkout are final: shipping is free and there are no surcharges added after payment.
Sales tax
Where state law requires it, sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm. The figure you approve is the figure you pay.
Payment security
Card details are entered on Shopify’s PCI-DSS Level 1 certified checkout and go directly to the payment processor. We never see, store or handle your full card number, and no one at Novra can read it. Every transaction is encrypted in transit.
If a payment fails
Most failures are a typo, an expired card or a bank security check. Try again, or try another method; nothing is charged for a failed attempt. If money appears to have left your account for an order that did not complete, that is an authorization hold, and your bank releases it automatically, usually within 3–5 business days.
Refunds
All refunds, whether from a cancellation or the 30-day guarantee, return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of confirmation. If your card has since been replaced, your bank routes the money to the new card automatically.
